Today we’re adding 13 new countries to the growing list of places where Surface Windows RT will be available. Now customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland can all purchase their very own Surface RT. Customers in these countries can head on over to Surface.comfor information on purchasing Surface RT.
The phased rollout of Surface RT into new markets marks a pivotal moment for our customers who can now access and purchase Surface devices in more places.
With new and expanded availability to more people around the world, we’re eager for customers to get their hands on Surface RT and see how it can enhance their day to day lives. We hope you are pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and how much you’re able to accomplish with it.
When are you launching in India?
When do you think Surface Pro will be launch in Malaysia?
How can I become a microsoft Surface dealer? I'm from Suriname, South America. I have a tech company and we would be delighted to become a dealer or open a Microsoft store here in Suriname.
Please advice.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Wicky
Now, MS-online is opened for 3/1/2013 shipment.
MS, You are late again. The matter in business is the product and timing. You should have done this last saturday and should have addressed "Limited availability at launch" to Public. Please MS, Don't do anything at all about the surface and Give your all the stock of surface products to BestBuy and Staples. They are really the experts in this kind of business, Not like you, Dude !!!.
Panos & Surface Team --- Have you guys looked into making the Surface available for resale by your partners? CRN had an article around this well on the confusion as to why partners weren't included in the launch to help tout the Surface tablet in the commercial channels? Partners who have been currently selling Microsoft licensing/software products and Hardware devices have been left out in the dark on any plans.
Ok that's fine if you wanted to give a bit of a head-start in the retail-consumer space but you have completely left out communications to your partners of any single ounce of forthcoming plans to make these tablets available thru the business/commercial channels where your larger customers normally make their IT purchases. Your partners can also help advocate and showcase the value of these devices to our customers which in turn are also your existing customers too.
Do you think you will soon open up some of that communication?
Good question. Also, what is the process for commercial volume purchases? Is there a specific site? What about enterprise level extended support? This is not clear on the surface site.
You can't even supply the US, what's the availability going to be like in the EU.
What's with all the RT hate? A coworker owns the pro and I own the RT. Side by side, I'm actually even happier with my RT for its upsides:
* Weight
* Thickness
* Battery Life
* Wake-up Time
* Cost
I own this thing for consumption. I don't need to write code or edit consequential graphics, I need to browse the Internet, check my email, and take notes in meetings. My Surface RT does those things amazingly. The only thing I really wish I had was a Lightroom equivalent that will work with my Canon SLR. If I want to do any of that heavier desktop stuff, that's what my laptop is for. But this is the device I use every day.
That is the main reason for wanting a Surface Pro is so I can edit my Nikon D7000 images in RAW which the Surface RT dose not have the feature to do :(
@o0MattE0o: I was just saying that people do want the RT, even if you don't. Well, at least I do. :)
Come on Microsoft give us the Surface Pro 128GB (dont build the 64GB)
1. Stop spending all that money on MS Stores in the US
2. Stop building RT's that no one wants (sorry)?
3. Look at a map, there is a world out there!
4. Give us some comunication so we know if we need to look else where
5. Give the Marketing Department redundacy they are not helping you one bit...
Yes! Stop making 64GB, doe producing RTs and use all those factories for the GOD DAMN 128GB Pro until you satisfy the demand!!!!!
Hi. I have two questions:
1. Does anyone at Microsoft ever read these comments?
2. Can you at least give us an estimate when to expect an approximate date when you will announce the date when you will finally say when are you going to start shipping the Pro version to Europe, countries like the UK and Germany? Or at least give us a date when you will announce that date.
Dear Microsoft. Please can you give us rough time
estimate on UK arrival
Soooo, even tiny countries like Luxembourg are getting their own variants while relatively huge countries like Poland aren't worthy. And we don't even require any special touch/type covers, since we use the US layout over here.
Dear Microsoft, why do you hate us and don't want our money?
in Mexico when it arrives?
When can we expect to get the Surface Pro in the UK? Or even we can we expect to find out when the Surface Pro will be available in the UK? Or even an estimate?!
Couldn't sell them here so lets try elsewhere?
Will Surfaces be eventually available in all countries where Windows is available?
